Life with teenage children
Oh my life with these lovely teenagers. Does anyone ever survive??? tell me the truth is their a rainbow at the end of this???? I wonder. It is now 1 am in morning and I'm writing this because of the eventful night I have had chasing down those wonderful children that I keep telling myself will pay for my nursing home one day. The summer break has started and I'm only 3 days into it. AM I GOING TO MAKE IT???? My Ashley got her summer school papers in today. Because of course she's failed 3 courses, and she acts like I'm the dummy LOL..Our high school has a rule that if you miss more than 5 days of school without a note then you automatically lose 10 points from your grade. Well the papers came in and it said that ashley had missed 11 times in Us History, and 10 times in bilolgy. Now the issue I have with this, besides the obvious that she's failed. Is how is it that you see her leave to go to school EVERY morning and she misses 11 classes... hmmmmmmm... must be the obvious she's skipping school... I confront her and she's like ARE you nuts??? I'm starting to think that she might be right.... maybe it is me. Maybe because I want her to grow up and have an education and live a healthy life makes me nuts. I sometimes think when children turn 16, they are taken over by alien beings (of course sent by my mom because she totally thinks I deserve this) that corrupt their minds to make them selfish, selfcentered and just plain ole illogical. She has also informed me that she is moving out when she's 18 because she's going to be able to pay her own way with her 160 dollar a week paycheck plus go to school full time. NOT.. can you tell this child has gotten to me LOL... well here's hoping she gets her act together. She turns 18 on October 29th. That's my deadline

the beginning

Hello everyone
I've gotten a great idea to actually log some of my f
amily trials and trivial actions.....Let me first tell you all about myself. I am 37ish and the mother of 6 (yes I did say 6 kids). No I didn't give birth to them all, only 4 of them and two are twins. The other two I inherited. Let's start with the oldest and work our way down

Adam is my stepson. He moved in with me when he was 12ish and considered it home. He is the only boy and always use to tell people the men's roo
m was in the backyard LOL... due to all the girls he lived with. At 17 he decided that he could make it on his own so he moved in with gramma and grandpa...so much for making it on you own huh????? He'll be 20 the end of June

Then there is my foster daughter Jen... best preg
nancy I ever had with that one... she came in potty trained and knew how to dress herself LOL.... she also moved in when she was 12ish. She is such a beautiful and sweet child... but can be moody as hell....but I guess everyone can be at one time or another... at the present moment she dates a boy named vinny, who is every mother's dream... He comes over and trims my bushes and put down mulch... keeping my fingers crossed on that one.

The twins, Ashley is 3 minutes older than Brittany so I'll start with Ashley. Ashley is right now the child who knows IT ALL.... dating a boy who I wish she would rethink her possibilities... but who knows she's still young (17) even though she thin
ks she's 40 LOL... but she is gorgeous and very motherly towards her baby sister....

Then there is brittany. I call her my last hope ... she's so
put together and got a great head on her shoulder. She's looking at colleges and planning her future. She's such a overall wonderful girl... buy boy does she have a temper.... watch out for that

Ok my first baby Gabrielle.... what an imagination that girl has. She can really lay it on thick. I truly believe someday she's going to be a writer. She can tell you some stories already... if you know what I mean. She has beautiful red curly hair
....and wants to help all the strays in the world...She is 15

Last but not least is my menopause baby maddie lynn, she just turned 3 May 1st. She is sooo precious and sooo spoiled. I think because we also, all
live with her grandparents... oh my that's a whole other blog LOL......but she is so special to all of us. Brittany and gabby won't admit it but I know they think so tooo........

Well I think you all got the lowdown of all of us.... we'll post more when I can here are some pics for reference.
